Michael not only went the extra mile when it came to his hospitality, he went beyond. We took the train from Freiburg to Feldberg Bärenthal -the highest train station in Germany- 967m above sea level. From the train station it took about a 15minute walk passing the Schnapps Museum and Lidl Supermarket. As we approached Rotmeerhause Michael and Lily (beautiful dog) welcomed us at the front door, and we were immediately offered a cup of (very good) coffee. The room was immaculate, and the bathroom spoke of German quality at the best. The breakfast was the same as you can expect on first class and possible a little more. We did a small hike up the mountain to Zweiseenblick in the morning, and Michael also let us know that we can check out after the hike. This is certainly not all the time possible, however in our case he offer us this gratitude. I think when you stay here, the place will remain in your memory for a long while. We can recommend Rotmeerhaus to anyone who would like to enjoy some peace and quiet, and enjoy the Schwarzwald nature.

Great place, very clean and decent size rooms. The owners are simply wonderful people. I hot ill during my stay in the hotel and they were great help. The owner even helped me to get my motorbike back on the trailer. Very nice breakfast and wonderful view on the mountains! I highly recomend.

Súper limpia.Desayuno muy completo y si el tiempo lo permite tiene terraza. Parking gratuito. También cenamos en la casa y es buenísimo. Pero lo mejor de todo es Emanuel quien lleva el hotel.. te ayuda en todo lo que necesites y es súper simpático y muy amable. Muy cerca del lago Titisee y lo turístico. Sin duda lo recomiendo. Zona muy tranquila.

The receptionist (Bojana Kocet)is so helpful. We are from Malaysia, therefore language is a barrier. Hence she help us to talk to the cab driver on the destination we heading to. On top of that, she guide us with the train schedule for our next destination. She go beyond for the customer to ensure we have a comfortable stay. She so friendly and I would want to emphasize she is truly helpful The room is clean, the heater is good. Special thank to Bojana Kocet again for all her help and support.

Hotel is the most enjoyable and pristine property we stayed at. They even have their own private park with deers and you can feed the graceful animals. The attention to detail and aesthetics of the hotel, spa, park, restaurant and all the facilities, rooms - is superb. For the child - there was a little bathroom robe and cute set of toiletrees in the room. Each room is unique and a candy for the eye. Tranquility, harmony and joy - is the vibe here. Breakfast, lunch and dinner and high tea time at a Michelin star restaurant. Honestly, it's a dream come true! And the stuff - people are exceptionally well trained, professional, kind and attentive. We have memories for life and will definitely come back again and again!

We stayed there for a weak in the off season and had a wonderful time. I honestly do not know what could be improved. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful, the food was excellent, the location is really nice and the SPA area great, I could imagine though that the latter could get a bit crowded, if the hotel is really fully booked.

The staff was very friendly and professional. The Saturday dinner was incredible. The breakfast buffet is also very good. We had a good time at the hotel bar in the evening. The location is great, just a 7min walk to the lake or the Badeparadies. Would definitely recommend the place for a weekend getaway.

El hotel es encantador, muy acogedor y con preciosa decoración en el comedor. Hemos estado en una habitación muy amplia, con una cama muy grande. El baño muy espacioso con toallas esponjosas.
