Great location, comfortable room, generous breakfast. The hotel let us know of the refurbishments taking place but as it was a weekend it did not impact us.
Located in a 17th century town house, The Old Brewhouse is a charming and characterful bed and breakfast. Free parking is possible on site, and free Wi-Fi is accessible in certain areas.

Lovely old town with plenty of shops, particularly individual, local shops. Good place to walk around and plenty of eating places and coffee shops to take a break. Great history around the town from Roman times. Unfortunately we didn't have time to investigate all the places of interest. A particular place to mention was Sudeley Castle which was an absolute gem.

Cirencester has almost everything a visitor would want from a market town including a Saturday food and produce outside market and a arts and crafts indoor market. This is alongside many high street chain shops as well as small independent shops. There are many restaurants, wine bars and pubs as well to choose from covering all sorts if tastes and preferences.

There is an interesting mix of shops, arts arts and crafts, parkland, cafes and historical sites. The church is beautiful inside and is worth a revisit to take it all in. The historical buildings from different centuries side by side give it character and is a surprise each time you walk through an alley or turn a corner.
The food sold on the farmers market is a good quality and mix and the craft market is also high quality.
We will be revisitng.

The market square, overlooked by St John's church - 'the cathedral of the Cotswolds' is very beautiful. The church is staggering - very large and ornate - an architectural jewel. Parking in town was easy enough (April, Easter holidays).
The market outside the church (we were there on a Friday morning) was small but all of the stalls were interesting, with very high-quality fish, vegetables and bakery.
We ate well at our hotel, the Stratton House just out of town on the Gloucester Road.

Also a good market in the square on Friday & Saturday, a good variety of stalls.
The Corinium Museum showing the towns Roman past is well worth a visit.
We arrived with our friends two twin rooms we stayed room 2 has only one flight of stairs but so comfortable with lovely beds spotlessly clean bathroom and central heating on all day if you require or adjust yourselves never been so warm and cosy in a hotel or B&B also very quiet
Brilliant breakfasts large quantities you need healthy appetite cooked wonderfully plenty tea coffee toast
Natalie and Bob, the owners very helpful lovely to chat to made us very welcome
Great location central to Cirencester and public transport
Nice old hotel with good food and excellent service/staff. I stayed on my last night of a work trip as my colleague had to leave early, we had previously been staying in a nearby hotel that offered apartments. The Fleece was better in all respects and much cheaper. Breakfast at the Fleece was comparably very good, excellently cooked with much better service (although the quality of the ingredients didn’t seem quite as good as the nearby larger hotel). Really comfy bed and very quiet room (even on the front of the hotel).
The warm welcome was much appreciated. The apartment is 5*, better than staying in a hotel. Just excellent. The facilities were great, the lounge/diner really well appointed and well lit. The kitchen had everything you need, if you wish to cook. Bring milk if you take that with your tea/coffee is a hint, otherwise there is a garage down the road, or the main town in the other direction. Another hint, bring your Netflix details to use on the TV.
We love this hotel! We have been there with our kids & Labrador and I have just come back from a fab girls weekend away there! It’s big, lots of facilities, lovely breakfast, friendly reception staff, lovely rooms…especially the ones overlooking the Lake. Marie (Maria!), one of the Managers was absolutely exceptional. She makes you feel like it is a top 5 star hotel!
We had our dog with us and we were restricted from eating a number of the hotels venues. We did have breakfast but had to sit in the lounge nearest the entrance. The breakfast room was self service and seemed understaffed there were tea and coffee machines and buffet style food counters , no staff spoke as they were all rushed off there feet
Imposing Victorian building with bold colours and eclectic furnishing. Clearly improved to a high standard with many individual furnishings.
Close to town centre and parking very adjacent to hotel and cheap.
Breakfast and evening meals very good and staff friendly.
Very nice place to stay when you want to spend some time in Cotswolds. Great location of the hostel - right in the town centre. Kitchen has all necessary stuff. Neat, clean and minimalist, my room was small but that's all I needed. I felt safe and welcome.
Excellent breakfast with plenty of options

The Eliot Arms is outstanding Cotswolds accomodation. The rooms are excellent and there is a quality bar and restaurant within the hotel. The staff are very engaged. I look forward to staying again.
The Location of The Old Brewhouse is great - walking distance to the center of Cirencester and near many restaurants , shops and historical sites. The breakfast was great and the room charming.
Free parking to the rear of the hotel. Nearby restaurants, pubs and town centre, a short flat walk away.
Well presented, tasty full English breakfast.
Well worth the upgrade to the larger room.
MBB Brasserie was superb a lovely space and great inventive menu. The young lady who served us was very pleasant and helpful. The hotel is well located and the arcade something different.
the staff were very courteous and helpful, specially Joanna. The rooms were large and very comfortable. was the perfect hotel to stay in and we would definitely go back there.
